1st SERbian BIomarker Symposium (SERBIS)

Date:
Thursday, January 28, 2016 - 08:30 to Friday, January 29, 2016 - 18:00

WELCOME ADDRESS

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

It is a great pleasure and honor to invite you to the 1st SERbian BIomarker Symposium  (SERBIS) that will be held in Belgrade, Serbia, on January 28-29, 2016. This international symposium is arranged to bridge clinical and laboratory work, emphasising the importance of teamwork and interactions between all professionals involved in the fight against cardiovascular disease and personalized medicine approache. The 1st SERBIS with the overall theme Biomarkers in Clinical Cardiology: Diagnosis, Treatment and Devices is intended to display the state of the biomarker use at the interface between Cardiology and Laboratory Medicine.

This symposium will bring together well-known experts from all-over Europe which will share their knowledge, experience, latest research and deliver state-of-the-art lectures in the area of clinical cardiology, circulating and imaging biomarkers, advances in analytical issues, recently published guidelines and evidence based therapies and treatment strategies.

We were planning an innovative and original programme to present, share, debate and conclude on the opportunity to improve diagnosis, risk stratification, and selection of therapy using noninvasive new biomarkers and new application of existing biomarkers in clinical cardiology.

We are convinced that SERBIS will be top level educational and scientific event in our region, giving to the participants an excellent opporunity for education and chance for improvement of personal achievements. It will offer a unique opportunity to identify new research ideas and establish collaboration with colleagues from different countries. Also, to keep up to date with Industry partners who will showcase their latest advances on their booths in biomarkers determination, therapy and devices in clinical cardiology.

We hope that SERBIS will meet your expectations, provide you some unforgettable personal and professional memories, and trust that you will enjoy your visit to the very beautiful and exciting city of Belgrade.

We look forward to welcoming you in Belgrade.

Sincerely yours,

Symposium directors
